The solid features available on the typical baseline Atlas Vac unit makes for an excellent capital equipment investment lasting many years. Atlas Vac Machine often negotiates a trade-in for certain models that have been well maintained and have many more years of useful life. Through a factory trade-in program, the liability for unique changes made to the unit by the customer is mitigated by return and acceptance of the unit by the original manufacturer, Atlas Vac Machine. Changed guarding, modified controls or other altered features do not become a legal issue for the previous owner on the used equipment market.

Unlike a used equipment broker, at Atlas Vac Machine, these reconditioned units are reviewed for any discrepancies with the factory original assembly documents and in many cases are also upgraded where necessary. After a thorough factory reconditioning protocol, these units receive a 90-day factory warranty and in some cases a full factory one-year warranty. A used equipment broker cannot offer the expertise of our Atlas Vac technicians nor the peace of mind. Once the purchaser selects a reconditioned model, new tooling can be quickly made to order for these units using the latest precision CNC methods and molded gaskets as with our new AV units. Quality verification testing is done with packaging materials supplied by the purchaser. In many cases, these older models do not have the multiple optional features now offered on the newest AV Medical Tray Sealers but these factory reconditioned units provide durable and efficient service sought by businesses with non-medical packaging needs. In fact, these factory-reconditioned units are viewed as more rugged than competing brands currently offered as new to the non-medical market. In other cases, some medical start-up or trial programs seek units such as these to reliably provide "The ATLAS VAC SEAL" on a small-scale basis.
