What's New!
Atlas Vac Machine launches new large platen tray or blister sealer for tight clean room floor space scenarios.
After responding to customer requests for an optional Direct Force Sensing System (patented) providing a reading of the force (lbs.-force) exerted by the tray sealer press against the seal tooling on every stroke, Atlas Vac is now responding to requests by adding a new model, the 18:30S, to its product line providing a large powerful format platen 18” x 30” (45.7cm x 76.2cm) in a single shuttle system to conserve valuable floor space in packaging clean rooms.
This new model will have its public debut at the PharmaMedDevice Exhibition in Philadelphia on March 26-28, 2008.
The 18:30S is capable of providing over 10,000 lb-f on a large format Silverstone coated sealing platen. The Atlas Vac standard PLC controls for accurately controlling temperature, dwell time and pressure are known for high repeatability and easy to use in validation tests. Known for the heaviest platen heater in its class, the 18:30 family of sealers is renowned for its even platen temperature characteristics. The standard secondary IR thermal sensing (patented) provides packaging engineers the platen temperature information needed during validation as well.
